Our work · Tax and accounting office, Brighton Beach
A tax office that could not talk to its own customers.
The old site was not broken. That is the point. It loaded in half a second, it worked on a phone, it looked fine. It just could not do the job the business needed doing, and you could see that from its own reviews.

- Its own customers were reviewing it in GeorgianThe reviews embedded at the bottom of the old site included one written entirely in Georgian, praising a member of staff by name. The site those reviews sat on was English only. The customers had already told them what language they speak.
- It was a template, and it read like oneMade with Durable, an AI site builder. The words were the words every tax office gets: years of experience, dedicated professionals, ever-changing tax laws. Nothing in them was true only of this office, which means nothing in them was a reason to choose it.
- The phone number could not be tappedFound by our own audit tool, not by opinion. On a phone you had to read the number, remember it, leave the site and type it in. For a business whose customers are mostly older and mostly on a phone, that is the whole funnel.
- There was no price anywhereNot one number on the whole site. The single most common question a tax client has, unanswered, so every one of them had to call to ask it.
- There was no way to bookA contact form, and then waiting. In a season where the office is full from eight in the morning until eight at night.
- Nobody was on itA four person office with a real front desk, and not one name or face above the footer.
What we did
- Seven languages, not oneEnglish, Spanish, Georgian, Russian, Ukrainian, Uzbek and Tajik. Every one of the 262 phrases in each, checked by a script that refuses to build if one is missing. Now the review written in Georgian lands on a page written in Georgian.
- A booking calendar that is really theirsThirty minute appointments straight into the office calendar. Eight to eight in tax season, nine to five the rest of the year, weekdays. The client gets a confirmation and a calendar file. It is running right now: open the new site and pick a time.
- The prices, publishedTwo hundred and twenty five in the office, one hundred and ninety five online, one hundred and twenty five for a senior with one income. The question everybody asks, answered before they call.
- The people, with their facesThe four of them, named, with photographs, and the languages each one speaks.
- Their own videos, not stockSix real reels from the office Facebook page, where nineteen thousand people already follow them.
- A phone number you press onceAnd a live Google map, and their real rating of 4.9 from 43 reviews, taken from the listing rather than typed in by us.
Check it yourself
- Open both on your phone. Try to call from each one.
- Switch the new site to Georgian, then to Russian. Try the same on the old one.
- Book a time on the new site. There is no form to wait on.
- Look for a price on the old site. Then look at the new one.
- Scroll to the reviews on the old site and read the Georgian one.
Fair warning, because we would rather say it than have you find it: this is our own family's office, which means we had better access than a stranger would give us, and it was not a paying job. Everything above is still checkable by opening the two sites, which is why we chose to show this one first.
