The deal, written down.
These are the terms for work done by RamGrows Studio, Brooklyn, New York. They apply when you pay us or when you accept a written quote from us. They are meant to be readable, not clever. Our guarantee is part of this agreement, and where the guarantee promises you more than these terms require, the guarantee wins.
1. What we do
We grow local businesses. That covers websites, photography and video, logos and print, Google Business Profile work, booking systems, five languages, advertising, email and text campaigns, lead lists, and answering your phone. All of it is inside one monthly plan rather than sold piece by piece. Every plan and every price is printed on this website. If something is priced as "ask us", it means the price depends on your situation and we will quote you in writing before any work starts.
2. Prices and what you pay
- The price you are quoted is the price. If anything extra would cost money, you approve it in writing first. There are no surprise line items.
- The $1,200 setup fee is paid once, when you sign, before work starts. Nothing else is charged until your site is live.
- Your monthly plan is charged monthly in advance from the day your site goes live.
- Prices on the site are in US dollars and do not include any tax that may apply.
The setup fee and the plans. Setting up costs $1,200, paid once, before work starts. It covers designing and building the website, writing every word, a photo visit at your business, claiming and correcting your Google Business Profile, and all five languages. After that you are on a monthly plan: Essential at $499, Complete at $999, or Partner at $2,000 a month. The minimum term is three months. If you pay twelve months in advance you are billed for twelve and served for fifteen. The only charges outside the monthly price are money that passes through us to somebody else: advertising spend paid to Google or Meta, the metered cost of the AI services used on your account, and any printer you ask us to use. Those are passed on at cost, with no markup, itemised on your invoice.
Your price is locked. Prices rise when our twentieth customer signs: Essential to $599, Complete to $1,199, Partner to $2,400. Whatever price you signed at stays your price for as long as you remain a customer without a break.
Bringing a business. If a business you bring us qualifies (about $600,000 a year or more), is new to us, signs and has been a paying customer for four months, your monthly plan is reduced by 25% for each such business still with us, worked out again every month, up to four, at which point your monthly plan is free. The setup fee and pass-through costs (ad spend, AI usage, printing, texts) are never discounted. On a yearly plan the discount is credited as extra months at renewal. It cannot be combined with another discount. The business you bring receives $200 off its setup fee.
Bringing a business, for professionals. An accountant, insurance agent, lawyer or other professional who sends us a business that qualifies and signs receives 10% of that business's first-year value: half on signature, half after its third paid month. It is paid to the professional's business, not to the customer, and it is never combined with the customer's own discount for the same signature.
Locations, ad management, Local Services Ads, a person on the line. Every plan covers one location; a further location is $199 a month. Ad spend passes through at cost; a budget above $2,000 a month carries a 7% management fee on the part above $2,000. Google Local Services Ads setup is $299 once on Essential and Complete and included in Partner. A live receptionist for overflow and after-hours calls is $12 a call, billed monthly. One Desk, the owner's screen, is included in Complete and Partner.
3. AI, and what it costs
We use AI to do the slow, repetitive parts of the work. That is why our prices are what they are, and we say so openly. People still do the judgment: your photos, your words, the strategy, and every check before anything goes live.
Where a service you buy keeps using AI after launch, such as a bot that answers your phone, the AI usage is billed to you directly at cost with no markup from us. You will see that cost before you agree to it. We do not hide it inside our fee.
4. What you own
You own it. On final payment, the website, the designs, the photographs, the video, the logo files, and the words are yours outright. Your domain is registered in your name, not ours. If you leave us, everything goes with you and we will help you move it. We keep no hostages.
The one exception is anything we license from someone else, such as a font, which stays under that licence. We will tell you when that applies.
We would like to show your finished work in our portfolio. If you would rather we did not, say so and we will not.
5. What we need from you
A project needs you as much as it needs us. We need your content, your approvals, and your answers. If we are waiting on you for more than 30 days, we may pause the project and pick it up again when you are ready. Anything already paid stays credited to you.
You confirm that anything you hand us, such as photographs, a logo, or text, is yours to use. If someone else owns it and a claim results, that one is on you, not us.
6. Changes and revisions
Before launch we revise until you sign off. After launch, your plan covers a set number of changes each month, printed on the pricing page: five a month on Essential, twelve on Complete, and no limit on Partner. A change is one request on one page: new hours, a new photo, a new price, a new member of staff. A new page, a new feature, or a redesign is bigger than a change, so we quote it separately first.
7. Cancelling
After the three month minimum you may cancel at any time with 30 days notice. Hosting, updates, security patches, the answering service and your monthly changes stop at the end of the period you have paid for. The website is yours: we hand over the files and help you move it somewhere else at no charge. We do not hold a domain, a listing or a site as leverage. If you paid twelve months in advance and cancel partway through, we refund the unused months at the month to month rate.
8. What we do not promise
We will not promise you a number of customers, a position on Google, or a revenue figure, because nobody can honestly promise those and anyone who does is selling you something. We promise the work itself: done properly, on the timeline we agreed, to the standard in our guarantee.
9. Where our responsibility ends
We are responsible for our own work and we will fix our own mistakes. If something we did causes you a loss, what we owe you is capped at what you paid us for that piece of work. We are not responsible for things outside our control, such as your hosting company or Google changing its rules, an outage at a service we build on, or a change you or someone else makes to your site after we hand it over.
Nothing in these terms limits liability for fraud or for anything the law does not allow us to limit.
10. Ending the agreement
Either of us can end a project in writing. If you end it, you pay for the work done up to that point and we hand over everything finished. If we end it, which we would only do for a good reason, we refund anything you have paid for work we have not done.
11. Disagreements
Call us first. Almost everything gets solved in one conversation. If it does not, these terms are governed by the laws of the State of New York, and any dispute belongs in the state or federal courts of Kings County, New York.
12. Changes to these terms
We may update these terms. The version that applies to your project is the one published on the day you paid or accepted your quote. We will not change the deal on you halfway through.
